Ask Q get A ... the best possible way!
Hi.
U R welcome to ask any Q that U always wanted to ask but never knew whom to... when to & how to...! Kill curiosity & get killed. NOTE : Curiosity killed the "cat". You are(?) Human...! Rise above CAT-level. Ask. Ask Q. Ask Questions.
* Think Who am I ?
* c=?
* Who is Heisenberg? ... type of veg-Burger?
There U begin!!!
I'd be happy to answer ... for U, maximizing knoweledge & system optimality.
Truly,
`Dhananjay

Hi,
You were too eager to know what is good & what is bad. GOOD & BAD are NOT relative terms. So called HR/Humanities people with short sighted attitude make you believe that nothing's good or bad and all depends on situation. Well, arguments apart: If you know some things then you need not prove. Analogy: A PhD in Mathematics can never tell a first standard boy to find value of 2-5 or to an MBBS/CA to find Laplace inverse of tan x.
About Food:
WHY VEGETARIANISM?
Goal: Maximizing Level of Consciousness. (Or activity coefficient 'gamma' for the brain, for those of you who do not accept god.)
******************* *******************
Eatables: The food that causes 1)minimum separation, by quality and quantity, of matter from soul , and 2)minimum manipulation (control)of free will ;which, by means of it's consumption encourages spirituality by stimulating inquisitiveness(asking Questions) & thinking; and assists in one's efforts to find the REAL nature of self and the relationship with the supreme personality of GOD.
******************* *******************
Note This, in the Definition:
1.Level of consciousness
2.Everyone's Right of free will
3.Spiritual Growth
4.Insistance on GOD
5.Controlibility of Humans / creatures
6.Purpose
7.Nowhere it's mentioned about Non Non-Vegness
8.Universal Progress (Overall Optimization)
Now you tell me what is eatable.
Now when you are told about What is eatability criteria... just don't go on childish arguments for: A leaf-tobacco-tea, Tea: Alcohol, Eggs-Fertileness-Plant seeds, Cellular-Milk, Honey-a non VEG thing....., Why not Onion-Garlic though veg. etc. etc.
We Don't see the larger picture. Our Ancestors have told us things... So we follow. May be some people argue for their rightness but sometimes they fail in arguments though they are right. But they don't know WHY. The common criteria, may appear conflicting due to: "limited" / "unexercised to fullest extent but yet believing to be so" : 1) knowledge 2) scientific attitude 3) unbiasedness ... but rest assured it is there and eventually it could be understood after sincere efforts to do so.
But if someone is following right things, but is unintelligent as to explain, just don't confuse them. Go to better ones. Most of the Anti-Strict-Veg pamper themselves with self-assumed intelligent- reasonableness & adoptiveness; and deny the fact that they just put up the arrays of Questions in random order or quality and variety to baffle the Veg-defender trying to encounter each Question one by one landing up into self contradiction due to varied level of explanation needed for each question and hence feel happy having "not lost" their arguments and so they continue their ways. Tell me what's better : 1. Ask 1000 Yes or No (Good/Bad)Qs & get/expect apparently conflicting answers or 2. Listen to the theory & then decide for yourself if 999Q are satisfied & then ask the 1yet unanswered. ...? I prefer Second method. & U?
Ultimately, devotees are only interested in what pleases Krishna (the spiritual reason). *Krishna* is not pleased when we kill His creatures for our own gratification. So... No eating of meat, fish or eggs -this alone is reason-enough for me.
For you all above explanation + Following may help!
Facts and Figures (Curtailed Exhaustive Enumeration (>100Reasons if you like!))
Health
Excess protein creates excess nitrogenin the system, which creates fatigue. Meat contains lots of uric acid, which leeches calcium from the system. People who eat meat have the weakest bones. The body can deal with about 8g of uric acid in one day. An average piece of meat (3-4oz) contains 16g. Uric acid in the bloodstream creates arthritis: it irritates the tendons and joints. Meat products carry disease and infections. 50% of people in the U.S. die of heart disease, 33% die of cancer. Meat is a primary cause of heart disease and cancer. Excess cholesterol from meat accumulates inside arteries leading to high blood pressure, heart disease and stroke.
Economy
The livestock population of the US consumes enough grain and soybeans to feed the entire human population 5 times over. By feeding the grains to livestock, we receive only 10% of the available kilojoules. For every 16kg of grain and soybeans, we get 1kg of flesh in return. Supplying a meat-eater for one year requires 3¼ acres. Supplying a lacto-ovo vegetarian for one year requires ½ acre. Supplying a pure vegetarian for one year requires 1/6 acre. If Americans reduced meat consumption by just 10%, it would free 12 million tons of grain annually for human consumption — an amount that would entirely feed the 60 million people who will starve to death this year. The water required to raise a 1000 pound steer would float a destroyer. If the water required to produce beef were not subsidized, the cheapest hamburger meat would cost $35 per pound (Vegetarian Times, 1985). Corn and wheat provide 22 times more protein than beef for the amount of fossil fuel expended. Soybeans provide 40 times more.

Well, Dear Fellow:
Even if for a moment were you sincere in argumenting and not "just for the sake of it" to pass some time in debate I feel my efforts of a few hours are worth. But had you ever been REALLY seeking the explanation? Or Was it just a way to self-assure the correctness of your thinking?(Posing the logical inconsistency to be the LOGICAL thing.(Explaining manipulated unfertile eggs to be Vegetarian thing....For those who don't know the debate.))
I don't believe in New Year Resolutions, but if in any way, You Do... then am I too demanding to Expect you to act on THIS(Eggs)?
Sincerely Yours,
`Dhananjay.
